ABOUT THE SERIES:

As a new mom, you’ve likely been feeling it: the developmental transformation and identity upheaval of becoming a mother. But you might not have realized it actually has a name.

Matrescence is the all-encompassing metamorphosis of motherhood that touches every single part of you: your body, your identity, your relationships, your sense of self.

Most moms go through it without a map — but this four-part series provides you one.

Join Maddie Adams, also known as Mom Dog, for this four-week workshop series to find the language describing what you're moving through, find the support to say it out loud, and find the pack that’ll help you unleash the mom you're meant to be.

Each of these 60-minute sessions will take place following Native Pilates’ Saturday Pre/Postnatal Pilates session. Attending the class beforehand is welcome but not a requirement. During our session, Mom Dog will open with a short reading to introduce the week's theme. An open dialogue and guided discussion will follow, allowing eight moms to reconnect with their wisdom and inspire more confidence in their own experience of motherhood.

WEEKLY THEMES:

‍ ‍Week 1: Exposing the Inner Momster
Week 2: Dismantling Your Inner Patriarchy
Week 3: Trusting the Divine Feminine
Week 4: You First, Then Everyone Else

There will be laughs. There will be tears. There will be growth — and there will also probably be a moment where another mother says the exact thing you've been thinking, but weren't sure how to say, and finally feel seen and understood for the first time in a helluva long time.

As mothers, we do so much for our babies and our families. But this singular hour, on four Saturdays in a row, is meant for only you. Please arrange childcare for your baby(ies) during this time so you can be fully present — for both yourself and the other mothers.

NOTE: to keep things intimate and discussion-driven, this series is capped at 8 moms.
