Join Mom Dog the second Thursday of every month for 60 minutes of connection and community with other West End Methodist moms navigating matrescence.
Drop the kids at daycare, and then scoot on over to room 304 for an hour of YOU TIME. Well - US time. Show up as you are and don’t you dare bring anything with you — aside from an open heart and mind. (Okay, and maybe some coffee or water because it is a Thursday morning, honey).
Together we will sit, share, listen, and connect. Following a brief meditation and personal introductions, Mom Dog will introduce the monthly theme and then open up the floor for conversation.
There will be laughs. There will be tears. There will be growth.
And who knows? In a setting like this one (ie: not during those fleeting moments when you pass another mom in the hallway and can barely muster a polite smile, knowing full well you’re about to spend the next 27 minutes coaxing your child into their carseat) you just might meet other West End moms who soon become your pack.
NOTE: As mothers, we do so much for our babies, but this time is for you. If your child is not in daycare, please arrange for childcare during this hour so you can be fully present and gain the most from this Mothers Circle.
Feeling nervous to come alone? Been there. Text or email the other moms in your class or congregation and invite them to come! As the old saying goes, “it takes a village” to raise a Mother.
