No Country for Mothers: Film Screening on the Farm

  • The Old School Farm 5022 Old Hydes Ferry Pike Nashville, Tennessee, 37218 United States (map)

Join Mom Dog, Woven and Juniper Green at The Old School for a screening of No Country For Mothers:

a documentary that explores what motherhood really looks like in America today.

The film examines the culture wars surrounding motherhood and why labels like “girl boss” and “trad wife” ultimately distract from the bigger issue at play in our society: the lack of support for American families. The documentary traces a growing national movement to reunite moms across divisions and win historic support.

The screening will be followed by an open discussion, led by Maddie Adams (Matrescence Coach and founder of Mom Dog), Whitney Gorbett (owner of Woven Events), and Molly Martin (owner of Juniper Green and The Old School).

Details:

This al fresco film screening includes open conversation, food from Nashville food trucks, and drinks from The Old School Farm bar. BYO lawn chairs or picnic blankets to create a space where you and your friends can enjoy the evening together.

Guests are welcome to bring their own picnic dinner, but please note that outside alcohol is prohibited.

This night isn’t just about watching a film.

It’s about being in community with other mothers, linking arms with our sisters to form stronger connections, and saying the things out loud that we’ve been carrying quietly — because maybe some of what we’ve been taught to carry privately was never meant to be carried alone.
